WSB is planning on doing a drone flight of the entire project on Wednesday, August 16.
This information helps us in design in verification of driveways, obstacles, provides us with high definition imagery for layouts and construction, and is also a tool to verify accuracy of our in the field survey if there are discrepancies.
Bridge Road – Shamrock Township has contracted with WSB and Associates, a design engineering, architecture, and survey firm to perform preliminary design and investigations on Bridge Road from State Highway 65 to 209th Place.
In the next couple of months, you will see staff from WSB on site performing survey, wetland delineations, geotechnical work, and other investigations to give the township alternatives for rehabilitating Bridge Road.
Preliminary alternatives will be generated throughout the summer, and are expected to be presented to the Board in the fall of 2023. These investigations on site are performed to gather information on topography, existing right of way, soils, and locations of natural resources that may need special considerations during preliminary design.
