SHAMROCK TOWNSHIP CLEAN-UP DAY
2024 Fall Clean-up Day

9:00 am – 2:00 pm
Clean-up days are held twice a year, in the spring and fall, for the benefit of all Shamrock Township property owners. The dates will be set at regular board meetings. Once the date is set, it will be posted on the website, calendar and at local establishments around the township.
This service is to help keep our township clean and our ditches debris/garbage free. Please make use of this township service considerately – not abusing the privilege.
The clean-up day rules and requirements:
- Shamrock Township Residents/Property Owners ONLY – **PROOF** required at Sign-in. (see below)
- Regular household garbage is not accepted
- Multiple loads will be monitored – major home reconstruction projects should obtain their own dumpsters – not abuse the township service
- $25 Mattresses/Box Springs
- $20 appliance with Freon
- $25 per television/monitor
- $10 per printer/VCR/DVD and DVR
- Tire Fees – $10 Passenger Car and Light Truck Tires; $15 Large Truck Tires
- NO Off-Road or Skidder Tires will be accepted
- NO Building Materials, hazardous materials, fiberglass boats will be accepted
- Not for Business/Commercial Use
For hazardous materials that we do not accept, check with Aitkin County for the date of their Hazardous Waste Clean-up Day that they sponsor every year.

Shamrock Township board does their best to accommodate its residents when scheduling the clean-up dates.
*Proof of property ownership consists of:
If resident, drivers license or mail if you receive mail at the Shamrock property with address and your name. If it is not your residence – Your tax statement or utility bill that shows service to Shamrock Township property.
